Liguria is a crescent-shaped region in north-western Italy.

Its Mediterranean coast is known as the Ligurian Riviera. The 5 lively fishing villages of the Cinque Terre, as well as the elegant Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure, are located on the east coast or Riviera di Levante.

The west coast, the Riviera di Ponente, is home to Sanremo, an ancient location with a casino dating back to the early 1900s and a flowery promenade.

La Liguria è una regione a forma di mezzaluna nell'Italia nord-occidentale.

La sua costa mediterranea è nota come Riviera ligure. I 5 vivaci villaggi di pescatori delle Cinque Terre, così come le eleganti Portofino e Santa Margherita Ligure, si trovano sulla costa orientale o Riviera di Levante.
