Located 200 kilometers from the Côte d'Azur, Corsica stands out in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Its landscapes, monuments and paradisiacal beaches make it an ideal destination for hiking, relaxing and discovering a millenary heritage and traditions.

Corsica has everything you could ask for from a Mediterranean island: vibrant nature, dream beaches, charming villages and a fascinating history. Because the Corsican island experienced frequent incursions and domination by foreign peoples, but has always preserved a spirit of independence that remains to this day,

The tiny towns on the Mediterranean coast of the island of Corsica, many of them with less than a thousand inhabitants, with their old town intact, retain their charm and enjoy excellent cuisine, especially for eating fish.

Corsica is a very mountainous island, where Dantesque landscapes of peaks, spires and lakes alternate with vast plains. True heart of Corsica, the mountain is the guardian of its traditions and its identity as well as the natural setting for villages with sturdy stone houses.

Everywhere, hiking trails, including the GR20, lead you through the heart of an authentic and generous Corsica.

  1. The coastal villages of Corsica have a particular charm, as if time has passed over them without stopping.

    1. Never mention France. The Corsicans don't consider themselves part of these domains and, after visiting this 'mountain in the middle of the sea', you'll understand why. From its culture to its gastronomy to its wild, white sandy beaches, Corsica feels a world apart.
