A TOUR IN THE COASTAL CITIES OF CORSICA IN 7 DAYS: THERE IS ALSO THE SOUTH (2ND EPISODE).

Our tour continues between beaches with crystal clear water, olive groves and ancient monasteries from the medieval era.

Seldom does the coastal landscape of Corsica change so abruptly.

We have not finished discovering the beaches with crystal clear water such as the beaches of the Caribbean Sea that we are already entering a wooded and mountainous area, in which isolated houses suddenly appear and on top an old medieval convent considered a true historical ruin.

7 days in Corsica (2nd part).

Second part of this splendid tour made with friends in Corsica, a few steps from the Italian coasts, is considered one of the pearls of the Mediterranean Sea, and is part of the French territory, located a short distance from Sardinia.

By consulting online a practical tourist guide for France, you can collect all the information about the history and traditions of the island, the favorite holiday destination of thousands of tourists who populate its streets and beaches every year.

Santa Giulia beach.

Although the Balearic Islands are considered the most appreciated jewel of the Mediterranean Sea, some Corsican beaches such as Santa Giulia have nothing to envy.

This place that takes its Italian name from the ancient domination of the Corsican island for centuries by the Republic of Genoa belongs to Porto-Vecchio, the third largest city of the entire island and few other places can compete with it in beauty.

It has all the comforts of modern life but retains its natural charm.
A picturesque dock, crystal clear and calm waters and wooded surroundings complete a true postcard for those who love a quiet holiday.

Palombaggia beach.

This beach is perfect for snorkeling. A rocky spit of land separates Palombaggia from Tamarucciu, considered the second most beautiful beach in Corsica

Palombaggia has the most tropical climate on the island of Corsica.

It is an adventure apart from taking long walks on its white sand, which at times turns golden, admiring the freshness of the pines that are a refuge for shade when the sun is too hot.

Levi.

We drove to Levie leaving the beach area behind. In Levi you can organize a cruise in the Gulf of Porto, you can take a canyoning tour in the Verghellu canyon or you can try the adventure of water trekking in Gravona.

For our part we visit the prehistoric ruins of Cucuruzzu (measured starting from the second millennium BC).

Ancient convent of Saint Francois.

And we close this part of our tour by admiring the natural environment that surrounds the ruins of the Ancient Convent of Saint Francois.
