The Andalusian horse-drawn carriage.

The tradition of horse-drawn carriages in Andalusia is very old. Probably from the Arab occupation of the Iberian Peninsula where they were established for 7 centuries. Strolling through Seville by horse-drawn carriage is one of the most typical things. Tourism loves walking through the center of Seville around the Cathedral and the Giralda. The horse is closely linked to many of the Andalusian festivals and traditions, such as the Romería del Rocío, the Sanlucar de Barrameda beach race or any of the local fairs and festivals.
