Ko Pha-Ngan Island in Thailand...!!

Ko Pha Ngan is an island in southeast Thailand that’s renowned for its monthly Full Moon Party. One time every month when Full Moon you will see about 20,000 to 30,000 people parting on the beach till they drop. Ko Pha Ngan is about 12 km from the island of Ko Samui only way to get there is by Ferries.

On this particular night we decided to stay home on our mountain top resort called the LightHouse on the other side of the island where you can actually see Ko Samui in the distance on a clear day and even at night it can be seen lit up.

I photographed this sunset in sequence from top of the mountain resort we were staying in we had already been partying three days straight and needed a break. As you can see in the distant back ground the mountain outline of Ko Samui Island.

All these photos were taken by me with a basic Ricoh Caplio RR3O camera and have not been altered except for this last photo i just added some special effects to see what it would look like...!!

For anyone who doesn't know of or been to Ko Pha-Ngan and is a party animal this is the island for you but it also has it peaceful unspoilt beauty, hilly lush tropical jungle and beautiful long white sandy beaches also many nearby diving spots.
